আসসালামু আলাইকুম, আসাকরি সকলেই ভালবাসেন, আজকে আমরা শিখব কীভাবে tense শিখে ইংরেজিতে সাবলীল ভাবে কথা বলা যায়।
Present Continuous Tense
যে Tense দ্বারা বর্তমানকালে কোন কাজ চলতেছে বুঝায় তাকে Present Continues tense বলে।
বাংলায় চিনিবার উপায়:
বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে তেছ, তেছি, তেছে, তেছেন, চ্ছ, চ্ছি, চ্ছে, চ্ছেন, ছি, ছ, ছি, ছেন এদের কোন একটি কোন বাক্যের সাথে থাকে তাহলে তা present continues tense হয়।
Rule: প্রথমে Subject বসে + number ও person অনুযায়ী be verb am, is, are বসে + মূল verb এর শেষে ing বসে।
Structure : Subject + am/is/are + মূল verb এর শেষে ing + object.
Example:
১) “তেছ” (তুমি – informal, present continuous)
তুমি কী করতেছ?
→ What are you doing?
তুমি বই পড়তেছ।
→ You are reading a book.
তুমি এখন কাজ করতেছ।
→ You are working now.
তুমি আমাকে ডাকতেছ।
→ You are calling me.
তুমি কেন হাসতেছ?
→ Why are you smiling?
তুমি ফোনে কথা বলতেছ।
→ You are talking on the phone.
তুমি স্কুলে যাইতেছ।
→ You are going to school.
তুমি গান শুনতেছ।
→ You are listening to music.
তুমি দেরি করতেছ।
→ You are getting late.
তুমি সত্য বলতেছ।
→ You are telling the truth.
২) “তেছি” (আমি – present continuous)
আমি বই পড়তেছি।
→ I am reading a book.
আমি কাজ করতেছি।
→ I am working.
আমি বাসায় যাইতেছি।
→ I am going home.
আমি ইংরেজি শিখতেছি।
→ I am learning English.
আমি ভাত খাইতেছি।
→ I am eating rice.
আমি ফোনে কথা বলতেছি।
→ I am talking on the phone.
আমি গান শুনতেছি।
→ I am listening to music.
আমি তোমার জন্য অপেক্ষা করতেছি।
→ I am waiting for you.
আমি লিখতেছি।
→ I am writing.
আমি সত্য বলতেছি।
→ I am telling the truth.
৩) “তেছে” (সে – present continuous)
সে বই পড়তেছে।
→ He is reading a book.
সে কাজ করতেছে।
→ He is working.
সে স্কুলে যাইতেছে।
→ He is going to school.
সে গান গাইতেছে।
→ She is singing.
সে ফোন ব্যবহার করতেছে।
→ He is using the phone.
সে হাসতেছে।
→ He is smiling.
সে ঘুমাইতেছে।
→ He is sleeping.
সে আমাকে দেখতেছে।
→ He is watching me.
সে কথা বলতেছে।
→ He is talking.
সে সত্য বলতেছে।
→ He is telling the truth.
৪) “তেছেন” (তিনি – respectful, present continuous)
তিনি অফিসে কাজ করতেছেন।
→ He is working in the office.
বাবা নামাজ পড়তেছেন।
→ Father is offering prayer.
স্যার ক্লাস নিতেছেন।
→ Sir is taking a class.
শিক্ষক বোঝাতেছেন।
→ The teacher is explaining.
তিনি বই পড়তেছেন।
→ He is reading a book.
তিনি বাজারে যাইতেছেন।
→ He is going to the market.
তিনি ফোনে কথা বলতেছেন।
→ He is talking on the phone.
ডাক্তার রোগী দেখতেছেন।
→ The doctor is seeing patients.
তিনি আমাদের সাহায্য করতেছেন।
→ He is helping us.
তিনি সত্য বলতেছেন।
→ He is telling the truth.
৫) “চ্ছ” (তুমি – colloquial present continuous)
তুমি কী করচ্ছ?
→ What are you doing?
তুমি কোথায় যচ্ছ?
→ Where are you going?
তুমি বই পড়চ্ছ।
→ You are reading a book.
তুমি আমাকে দেখচ্ছ?
→ Are you watching me?
তুমি ফোনে কথা বলচ্ছ।
→ You are talking on the phone.
তুমি কেন হাসচ্ছ?
→ Why are you laughing?
তুমি লিখচ্ছ।
→ You are writing.
তুমি গান শুনচ্ছ।
→ You are listening to music.
তুমি দেরি করচ্ছ।
→ You are getting late.
তুমি সত্য বলচ্ছ।
→ You are telling the truth.
৬) “চ্ছি” (আমি – present continuous)
আমি কাজ করছি।
→ I am working.
আমি বাসায় যাচ্ছি।
→ I am going home.
আমি বই পড়ছি।
→ I am reading a book.
আমি চা খাচ্ছি।
→ I am drinking tea.
আমি গান শুনছি।
→ I am listening to music.
আমি লিখছি।
→ I am writing.
আমি অপেক্ষা করছি।
→ I am waiting.
আমি ইংরেজি শিখছি।
→ I am learning English.
আমি ফোনে কথা বলছি।
→ I am talking on the phone.
আমি সত্য বলছি।
→ I am telling the truth.
৭) “চ্ছে” (সে – present continuous)
সে কাজ করছে।
→ He is working.
সে বই পড়ছে।
→ He is reading a book.
সে স্কুলে যাচ্ছে।
→ He is going to school.
সে গান শুনছে।
→ He is listening to music.
সে হাসছে।
→ He is smiling.
সে লিখছে।
→ He is writing.
সে খেলছে।
→ He is playing.
সে কথা বলছে।
→ He is talking.
সে আমাকে দেখছে।

৮) “চ্ছেন” (তিনি – present continuous)
তিনি অফিসে যাচ্ছেন।
→ He is going to the office.
মা রান্না করছেন।
→ Mother is cooking.
স্যার পড়াচ্ছেন।
→ Sir is teaching.
বাবা খবর পড়ছেন।
→ Father is reading the news.
তিনি কাজ করছেন।
→ He is working.
তিনি ফোনে কথা বলছেন।
→ He is talking on the phone.
শিক্ষক প্রশ্ন করছেন।
→ The teacher is asking questions.
তিনি আমাদের সাহায্য করছেন।
→ He is helping us.
ডাক্তার রোগী দেখছেন।

৯) “ছি” (আমি – present continuous, spoken)
আমি কাজ করছি।

আমি শুনছি।
